The Decision........Part 2.
This summer all the talk around the NBA has been around the next NBA offseason as a lot of big names will be free agents. Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Demarcus Cousins, Paul George, and DeAndre Jordan have the potential of being a free agent in the summer of 2018.
The one problem is there's another player that can become a free agent in 2018 and he's arguably the best player of this generation, LeBron James. James at 32 is still the best player in the league and he has control of the whole NBA next offseason because it all starts on where he decides to play in the 2018-2019 season.
LeBron most likely has 2 maybe 3 seasons as the best player in the league and teams are getting prepared to try and sign him. The same thing happened in 2010 when LeBron became a free agent and some NBA teams gutted their teams trying to sign James. Wherever he decides to go it will change the whole league around. If he stays in the Eastern Conference he will probably make the finals again and again. If he goes to the Western Conference he would make the Western Conference playoffs a real thing to watch. He just controls the league at this point, he's the reason why Kevin Durant went to the Warriors. He's the reason why you see all these superstars trying to play together now.
There's a lot of talk about him going to Los Angeles to join the Lakers and that would be good for the city of Los Angeles. If you be honest with yourself you know it's best if LeBron stays in the weaker eastern conference to really keep his chances of making the finals really high. Where he goes the conference will be stronger and the other conference will be significantly weaker.
The NBA is LeBron's world and we just have to wait on his decision.
