2017 NBA Draft Class.

The NBA rookie class was really good this year, a lot of first year players made a name for themselves this season. Some people are saying that this could be the greatest rookie class since the 2003 class which includes LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Bosh. That 2003 class came in blazing through the league and all 4 of those players became perennial all-stars. The 2017 class has a lot of talented players who led or had a big part of their teams success. Jayson Tatum, Donovan Mitchell, and Ben Simmons were stars their rookie seasons with Tatum coming on strong in the playoffs. Those 3 got the most attention but there were other rookies that made an impact on NBA teams this year. Lonzo Ball, Dennis Smith Jr., John Collins and other made an impact in the league this season. You have the top 3 rookies in the class who are also the 3 finalist for the Rookie of the Year award this season. Donovan Mitchell was the 13 th pick in the draft to the Utha Jazz and nobo

2017 Warriors vs. 2001 Lakers?

The Golden State Warriors as currently assembled are probably the best team in NBA history. They have the most likely the two best shooters in NBA history in Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson. They have a great defender in Draymond Green that can guard anyone on the court basically, not to mention Green makes plays for the Warriors on offense and is a great leader for them. Then they have Kevin Durant who’s easily the best scorer in NBA this generation. He’s seven feet tall and can handle the rock with such grace you wouldn’t think he’s actually 7 feet. They have a do it all player in Andre Iguodala who does everything for the team. A lot of people are saying this team will beat any team in a 7 game series. I’m here to dispute that claim. The 2000-2001 Los Angeles Lakers were an all time great team. They featured Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal and a perfect cast of role players around them. They ran the triangle offense perfectly taught by Phil Jackson and had Shaq protecting the

What’s Next For Dez?

The Cowboys released Dez Bryant last Friday, and everyone thinks oh its a great move. Dez can’t get open anymore and he’s lost a step. He was making too much money and had too much counting towards the cap for the year. That’s good cut by the Cowboys. I’m here to tell you it’s not true at all. Dez Bryant last season had 69 receptions for 838 yards and 6 touchdowns. People forget that Dak Prescott was his quarterback the last 2 seasons where he “lost a step”. I don’t know if you guys noticed this but Dak Prescott can’t throw the ball that well. If you go look at Dez Bryant’s highlights most of them are going to get the ball on top of people or tough contested catches while being closely guarded. These passes have to be thrown on the money in the catch radius to be caught by Dez. Bryant was never a get separation type of receiver. This is why you need a QB that can put the ball in the right places. I believe if Dez goes to a team with a good QB you will see a little bit of good D

Take The Blame!

These days people getting caught cheating left and right, and it’s getting worse because of the social media era. People be having sexual intercourse and be recording it. The person that’s recording is prolly going to put it on social media to show off. All the touching and twerking and licking on people gets reported too which means you’re probably going to get caught. What I don’t like is people quick to blame social media for they relationships messing up. You can’t blame social media sites for what you or partner did behind each other’s back. Just like when people blatantly flirt on social media they want to blame other people for their mistakes. Why not just break up with the person or not do the things that is considered cheating to start with? My thing is this, if social media broke up your relationship, how strong was your “relationship” anyways?

Don’t Think So Hard Cleveland Browns.

The NFL draft is next month. The Cleveland Browns who have been just awful for at least the last decade have the 1st and 4th picks in the NFL draft. So everyone has opinions on who the Browns should take with this draft pick. Most of the analysts say the Browns should take a QB with the pick. Quarterbacks haven’t worked too well as they have really missed on QB’s or haven’t put a lot of talent around the QB’s to succeed. Sometimes you would have to think that history would repeat itself and if you draft a QB with the first pick without talent around him that he would succeed either. What is this thing that when you have a horrible team and you have the 1st pick that means you have to draft a QB? You don’t have to draft QB first to instantly get your team right. I believe if there is a clear best player in the draft you should take that player. In this case the Browns have he first and 4th pick in the draft. This draft is loaded with talented QB’s. You have Josh Rosen, Josh Allen,

What To Do?

If you’re an competitor or participate in competitive activities or sports then you don’t like losing too much. What if somebody told you that losing is actually better than winning? What would you do? Some people will be like no, I can’t just walk out here and lose basically on purpose. Even me as a person I most likely would say naw I can’t participate in that. You can go the route of not tanking and trying to be competitive for your city. This doesn’t work of the time. If you have enough talent to win 46 games and lose 2 round over and over again what exactly are you accomplishing in that span? You win those games and win a playoff series and then you’re not getting a high draft pick and if you’re not in a big market most likely you’re not getting an marquee free agents you’re stuck in the middle. Are you content with being stuck in the middle? Probably not, which means you to try to get high draft picks. The way you get those? LOSING. In the NBA teams are obviously trying

Anthony Davis THE MAN.

This NBA season has been full of incredible story lines, but one story seems to being overshadowed a little too much. Anthony Davis is a superstar basketball player. People are seeming to overlook that saying he's just a star because he hasn't won any playoff games, or they say he hasn't won any awards and things like that. The playoff wins are a bad point to me, to win a playoff series win the team he has currently constructed is comparable to the teams that Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson and Lebron James carried respectively. Those teams needed real life superstars to make it to the playoffs. Anthony Davis to be is not getting a fair shake to me in terms of being a superstar. He's has been dealt a bad hand overall. He has played on bad teams his whole career. The only thing I can hold against him is that he gets injured a lot. He has missed a lot of a games with a lot of injuries over his career. The New Orleans Pelicans went out and got DeMarcus Cousins last year at th
