Want To Be Relevant?

The NFL season is starting real soon, and this is time that every team (except the Browns, Jets, Bears, 49ers) think they can win the Super Bowl this upcoming season. You see the confidence in every teams head coach and their coaching staff and players. It's good to have this mindset going into the season so you can actually see where your team is where the regular season starts.

As it's good to have this confidence going into the season you have to keep it real with yourselves about today's NFL. If you don't have a franchise QB more than likely you have 0 chance of winning the Super Bowl. A franchise QB in today's in NFL is so vital to your teams success, just ask the Raiders about life without Derek Carr, or the Chiefs who always put these good teams around Alex Smith and never reach the AFC championship game. A good QB gives you chance to make the playoffs. A great QB gives you a chance to make the super bowl basically every season.

This season college football is loaded with QB's, and I mean loaded. Sam Darnold from USC is the Heisman trophy this season. Besides him there is a lot of QB's that can go in the first round though. Last years Heisman trophy winner Lamar Jackson should be a 1st or 2 round pick. Baker Mayfield of Oklahoma could be a high pick as well as UCLA's QB Josh Rosen. I didn't name all the good QB's in this draft class because there is a lot more. Teams are always looking for the next franchise QB as you saw in the 2017 NFL draft as teams traded up to get QB's like Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes II and Clemson QB DeShaun Watson. Franchises in the NFL know that you need a great QB to make your team really be validated in the league.

This is why you will see teams like the 49ers, Jets, trying to put themselves in position to lose so they can draft one of these before mentioned QB's and try to make their franchise get that jump start to be relevant again.


If you want to be relevant in the NFL, find a Quarterback.....

The person that’s recording is prolly going to put it on social media to show off. 2017 Warriors vs. 2001 Lakers?

The Golden State Warriors as currently assembled are probably the best team in NBA history. They have the most likely the two best shooters in NBA history in Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson. They have a great defender in Draymond Green that can guard anyone on the court basically, not to mention Green makes plays for the Warriors on offense and is a great leader for them. Then they have Kevin Durant who’s easily the best scorer in NBA this generation. He’s seven feet tall and can handle the rock with such grace you wouldn’t think he’s actually 7 feet. They have a do it all player in Andre Iguodala who does everything for the team. A lot of people are saying this team will beat any team in a 7 game series. I’m here to dispute that claim. The 2000-2001 Los Angeles Lakers were an all time great team. They featured Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal and a perfect cast of role players around them. Anthony Davis THE MAN.

This NBA season has been full of incredible story lines, but one story seems to being overshadowed a little too much. Anthony Davis is a superstar basketball player. People are seeming to overlook that saying he's just a star because he hasn't won any playoff games, or they say he hasn't won any awards and things like that. The playoff wins are a bad point to me, to win a playoff series win the team he has currently constructed is comparable to the teams that Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson and Lebron James carried respectively. Those teams needed real life superstars to make it to the playoffs. Anthony Davis to be is not getting a fair shake to me in terms of being a superstar. He's has been dealt a bad hand overall. He has played on bad teams his whole career. The only thing I can hold against him is that he gets injured a lot. He has missed a lot of a games with a lot of injuries over his career.
