Is Preseason Really Needed?

Should the NFL take away it's preseason games? That's the question going around now that one of the NFL best and most popular athletes suffered an injury in a postseason game.

Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the NFL best receivers, some people argue him as the best receiver in the whole league. Beckham is also looking to be paid by the Giants as he has super out performed his rookie contract. He is only due 1.8 million dollars this season. This has caused him to look into taking an 100 million dollar insurance policy out on himself getting injured if he and the Giants don't reach an long term deal.

Thing is every time you do football activities like playing in a preseason or regular season game or attending and participating in practice you put yourself at risk to injury. Preseason games put you at risk just like regular season games so. The NFL has to decide is having 4 preseason games to make more money is more important than for example cutting 2 of these games out so most of the players can start the regular season healthy?

Beckham Jr. seemed real mad when he was hit by Cleveland Browns defensive back Briean Boddy-Calhoun. Beckham Jr. has to understand that people are trying to make a team during the preseason and that puts star and all other NFL players at risk to injury. This is how life in the NFL goes during the preseason. A lot of violent hits from people that are trying to feed their families.

Hey NFL, what about uhhhhhh cutting back on the preseason games? Sounds good?
