Baseball Gets Tricky.....

Baseball is a real tricky sport, a real tricky one. You can be the best team all season and turn around and lose a playoff series just as fast. Winning a lot of games comes with a lot of pressure and some teams can't handle and some teams just get beat.

This season the Los Angeles Dodgers have been dominating baseball. They came into today with 83-34 record which is far and away the best record on baseball. ESPN has a thing on their website keeping the pace to see if they can break the MLB wins record of 116 set by the 1906 Chicago Cubs and the 2001 Seattle Mariners. Remember when I said baseball is tricky? The 2001 Mariners managed by Lou Piniella didn't even make the World Series. That's how fast things can happen in baseball.

Right now everyone has the Dodgers penciled in to make and win the World Series, but remember baseball is real tricky come postseason time. This may be the reason by Clayton Kershaw can't get right in the postseason. Kershaw just doesn't have it on the postseason at the moment based off his 4-7 record with a 4.55 ERA from his regular season stats of 141-62 record with an 2.34 ERA which is the lowest of any picture with 1,000 innings in the regular season. Kershaw is the best picture on earth and everyone knows it. Baseball has a tricky way of playing out and you can see it with the numbers I just provided you. Kershaw is also on the DL right now so the Dodgers are hoping that he can come back strong and the finish the regular season on a high note.

The Dodgers have been the best team in the majors all season by far, they know it and we know it. They traded for starter Yu Darvish from the Rangers to even to add to their starting rotation even more. Their offense is loaded led by Cody Bellinger as they average the third most runs in the national league. They have everything going for them and all signs point to their first World Series appearance since 1988.

But hey, don't get tricked by baseball again......
