Rebound Reporting

The NBA Awards were handed out last night and as we watched everyone get their awards we all knew what we were waiting on.....the NBA to give out it's MVP award. All season everyone wondered who would get this award. There were arguments all season about who should win James Harden or Russell Westbrook. Everyone had an opinion on it even people that weren't in to sports like that. Both of these players had incredible seasons and there was no wrong choice with either of these two. As you probably know now Russell Westbrook won the 2017 MVP award and he deserved it. After the NBA awards show was over I went to social media outlets to see the reaction and how everyone felt. As usual people were congratulating him saying he should have won and everything. I was just so surprised to see the amount of dislike and the reasons for the dislike. You could get on a timeline on twitter and it would seem like Westbrook has committed crimes or did bad things in the community of Oklahoma C

As the NBA Draft approaches tonight the most talked about player in the draft is Lonzo Ball. In my opinion we have been talking about Ball for all the wrong reasons since the college season ended. Everyone brings up his father Lavar Ball and how outspoken he is. All in the media you see Lavar Ball said this and that, in my opinion that's the reason to talk about Lonzo Ball. We should talk about how he brought back UCLA basketball to prominence. UCLA coach Ben Howland has been winning a lot of basketball games for a long time but nobody noticed. UCLA won 15 games in the 2015-2016 season, Lonzo Ball came to UCLA and they won 31 games. Yet all people can bring up is Lavar and how much he talks about his sons. Lonzo was arguably the best player in college basketball last year as he averaged 14.6 points, 6 rebounds and 7.6 assist per game on 55 percent from the field.
