The Patriots Dynasty.

With training camp for most NFL teams coming up, we ask the same question every year, who's the Super Bowl contenders? Over the last 2 decades the New England Patriots was probably brought up in the conservation if they knew what they were talking about. They've won 5 Super Bowls in the last 17 years and they have the potential to make it 6 this upcoming season.

Reasons why the Patriots have been dominant for so long are honestly very simple. They have a great owner in Robert Kraft, probably the best coach of all time in Bill Belichick, and arguably the greatest quarterback of all time in Tom Brady.

Robert Kraft brought the Patriots in 1994 for 172 million dollars, and he turned the franchise around immediately. They have sold every game out since he brought the franchise. Kraft has been big in the union negotiations with the players union and all. He has been the head of turning the Patriots into an NFL dynasty.

Bill Belichick is the person that gets everybody in their places. He is the head coach and general manager of the New England Patriots. When he arrived the Patriots went from an decent team to a great team and they've been a great team for the last 17 seasons it seems like. Belichick has won 5 Super Bowl championships, and coach of the year 3 times. He's been a pillar for the Patriots and has them running on all cylinders all the time. He knows when to trade players and when to get players. The Patriots won the super bowl last year after trading arguably their best defensive player in linebacker Jamie Collins midseason reportedly because he was freelancing during some plays. Belichick always has the right gauge on his team and knows what to do at all times.

Last but not least the Patriots have this guy named Tom Brady. The 199th pick of the 2000 NFL draft had has the best career of any quarterback of all time in NFL history. To think that Brady got his break Drew Bledsoe got hurt in week 2 of the 2001 NFL season after a huge hit by a Jets linebacker. Drew Bledsoe went out and Brady came in. When Brady got his chance he never looked back. Brady as mentioned before had gone on to win 5 super bowl rings, 2 NFL MVP's and has been named to the 1st team All-Pro team twice. Besides the accolades he's been a great team leader and motivator for his team. Brady has done it all during his career winning more Super Bowls than any other starting quarterback ever in the game of football. Tom Brady got his opportunity and made the most of it.

The consistency has been there since 2000, and the Patriots have been winning ever since.

To be winning franchise in the NFL, maybe all to need is consistency?
